Meet Oralia

The name Oralia derives from the compound of the ancient Greek words for seeing (oro) and the sea (alos).

Oralia apartments feature nine independents, luxurious apartments. Odysseus and Penelope on the second floor, Laertes, Telemachus and Anticlea on the first floor, Homer, Polycaste, Calypso and Kirki on the ground floor.

Established in 2018, located in Vathy, the center of Ithaca, on the west side of the port within distance of 300m. of the center of the town. It’s ideal for those who seek tranquil and unwinding holidays.

Oralia apartments feature seven apartments capable to comfortably accommodate up to four people, an apartment for accommodation of three people and a studio suitable for two people. Each apartment has modern decoration in an intimate and hospitable atmosphere.

Odysseus

The apartment named after the legendary king of Ithaca is situated on the second floor and consists of a bedroom, an open kitchen/ dining room/ sitting room area and a bathroom.

Penelope

The apartment named after Odysseus’ loyal wife is situated on the second floor and consists of a bedroom, an open kitchen / dining room / sitting room area and a bathroom.

Laertes

The apartment named after Odysseus’ father is situated on the first floor and consists of a bedroom, an open kitchen / dining room / sitting room area and a bathroom.

Telemachus

The apartment named after Odysseus’ son is situated on the first floor and consists of a bedroom, an open kitchen / dining room / sitting room area and a bathroom.

Anticlea

The apartment named after Odysseus’ mother is situated on the first floor and consists of a bedroom, an open kitchen / dining room / sitting room area and a bathroom.

Homer

The apartment named after the ancient Greek epic poet, foundational for the European and the Greek literature, is located on the ground floor. It consists of a bedroom, an open kitchen/ dining room/ sitting room area and a bathroom.

Polycaste

The apartment named after the youngest daughter of King Nestor and wife of Odysseus' beloved son Telemachus is located on the ground floor. It consists of a bedroom, an open kitchen/ dining room/ sitting room area and a bathroom.

Calypso

The apartment named after the woman who enchanted the ingenious Odysseus and kept him on her island for seven years is located on the ground floor. It is a studio, and it consists of an open kitchen/ dining room/ sitting room/ bedroom area and a bathroom.

Kirki

The apartment named after one of the women who enchanted Odysseus, the daughter of the god Helios (Sun), who kept Odysseus and his men on her island for a year, is located on the ground floor. It consists of a bedroom, an open kitchen/ dining room/ sitting room area and a bathroom.

Ithaca is known all over the world by Homer as the birthplace of King Odysseus and the island is a universal symbol as love for the homeland. The serene shores with the turquoise waters surround them, as well as its wild green nature, make Ithaca a destination that regenerates the body and the spirit of the visitor.
